This must be the worst hostel in Sydney. Do NOT stay here. Room was cramped with blankets held up with safety pins for curtains. The manager was the rudest person in history. The internet may be free but it is SLOW, there are long queues and the computers were usually broke. Seriously - a park bench would be better...
It has excellent double rooms with ensuite (some of them) and TV, and we were only paying $260 a week for the ensuite.. Very tidy and neat... Only problem is the kitchen area, but we were eating out a lot anyway..
There is a reason they have a sign in resception stating no refund: cockroaches in the kitchen, dirty living area and the claustrophobic rooms with no windows must be avoided. Staff are unfriendly. I was told to "go f**k myself" upon complaining about the cockroaches being told that "it's a hostel, what do you expect". There are plenty of other places in king's cross, go elsewhere...anywhere.
