The worst hostel I have ever stayed at by NewYork Girl
I have stayed at many hostels all over the world and the Misty Chill in Parati is one of the worst I have ever stayed at. The hostel is dirty and overcrowded. The rooms have no ventilation and they smell horrible. The sheets given to me were covered with what appeared to be rust or something even worse. Other guests of hostel and I had lunch and had the same complaints. Melissa the manager is so unprofessional. When I told her of my experience she didn't seem to care at all. I was booked for 5 nights and only stayed one because of the state of the hostel. I spent almost $210 US. All Melissa had to say was, "write whatever you want, we will find someone else to take your bed." I was so shocked at her behavior. I do not recommend this hostel at all. Paraty is absolutely beautiful and has many other hostels or posadas that are reasonably priced and clean. There are various other International hostels as well. Do not stay at this one!
awsomee hostel... beachfront, right in the Historic Centre of Paraty... lovely crew working there... highly recommended for a good hang out, chill out... the rooms are comfy all with private bathroom... affordable prices
