Vila CasaNova is a small guest house with Bed and Breakfast amenities in the cozy atmosphere of a quite residential street in Santa Teresa, a historical neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. At reasonable rates, similar to a hostel, we offer a more personal choice of lodging in private rooms. The house is a charming four-floor rustic eighties construction where bricks and concrete contrast with nature and a wide view of the green and the city center. The rooms are in a tranquil and private ambient and either have a ceiling fan or an air conditioning and some have a balcony overlooking a green valley, the village houses and the city center. The accommodations may single, double or twin but it may be possible to add an extra bed under request We are conveniently close to the center and Lapa, at only 10 minutes from Corcovado, in a place from where you can easily reach the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the Sugar Loaf, the Maracanã football stadium and the Sambódromo where the great carnival parade happens. Our B & B is also only a walking distance from the local commerce with its shops, restaurants, cafes and a cool bohemian nightlife.
