Rosy Guesthouse - Review from Rachel Band
Welcome to the Rosy Guesthouse. We are a small, relaxed guesthouse run by two experienced travellers; we know what’s important after a hot day seeing the sights of Asia! We have one of the most tranquil views in Siem Reap; over the Siem Reap River and Royal gardens. All of our rooms have international satellite tv (even our budget rooms) and all en suite bathrooms have hot and cold water showers. We clean all day long, as we all know how important cleanliness is; every room is cleaned everyday. Our cold water shared bathrooms are cleaned three times per day! We provide linen and towels in all rooms as standard. All rates quoted are fan only. Air conditioning is available for all en suite rooms for a small additional fee on arrival. All rooms non smoking, but tranquil smoking areas are provided...
Ask us anything you would like to know about Angkor, Siem Reap or Cambodia in general; we can help you organise all aspects of your trip from which temple to see a peaceful sunrise to where to get the best Sunday Roast dinner in town! We can even organise for a taxi to be waiting for you at Poipet if you are coming from Thailand or from the Phnom Penh airport if you are flying into Cambodia (please contact for details). We have loads of local knowledge and insider hints as well as local, regional and Angkor specific guide books for your reference...
Our very popular bar and restaurant offers both a taste of home with our Western food (HP sauce and Heinz baked beans available!) and Asian delights with our Khmer food, and with over 50 different spirits and beers you are bound to find something you like. We have daily sun downer drink specials from 6 to 8pm! If the conversation from our Western or Khmer staff doesn’t keep you entertained then make use of our free pool table, darts board and lots of pub games; Pickle (the friendliest dog in Cambodia) will always be happy to see you!..
We are proud to be a member of the Childsafe network protecting children in Cambodia from all forms of abuse (www.childsafe-cambodia.org). Your stay also supports a variety of charities in Siem Reap including free school art lessons, support for landmine survivors and donations to local children’s hospital.
