nice guesthouse - top service by gerhild
me and my husband stayed in february 2009 in michaels queen villa angkor. the room we had was big (room 9 - superior room for $ 35,- per night), very clean and quiet. informations about angkor and our trips to more destinations in cambodia were very helpful. michaels tuk tuk drivers are great (we had mr. liang). never hurry, always friendly and calm. they know how do visit angkor beside the tourgroups - very good experience! the queen villa is in walking distance to the city center - back home we always took a tuk tuk for $ 1,-, because the streets have no street lights there - a little bit scary!
over all it was a very nice stay in this guesthouse (5 days) and we will recommand this place for everyone at any age!

queen villa angkor is really a nice hotel (guesthouse). the rooms are spacious, spotless and quiet. the building is amazing and it's in a big garden. it's about 10 minutes walk to the city center and in the night it's very quiet there. the pool is ok, breakfast in the morning also (very good coffee!). informations from the austrian owner michael are superb, he is very friendly and tries to help where ever he can. his tuk tuk drivers are also very nice and helpful. very nice place - highly recommandable.
