Nice Bloke. Spacious room, cable tv with 70 channels, fridge, large bed, table and chairs, wardrobe, ironing board. Excellent access to subway station which from there takes minutes into the city. Great local shops, chester chicken is worth a try. Bathroom was good, with laundry facilities for just a doller. Kitchen with computer, on my floor anyway. Area is ok, some flat blocks and homeless people, but also trees a church and lots of friendly people. Definatly would stay there again if i went to toronto, cheap and nice. There is a small amount of subway noice. He will let you stay longer if your flights not till late which is great. Easy to get to from international airport, get bus to kipling subway station, and then you dont need a ticket and subway will take you to sherbourne. You do need change for the bus. Not easily recognisable from the road, in as far as there is no sign, but there is a number, just ring the bell and someone should appear. Cheap and nice, good value for money and a base for the wonderfull city of toronto.
My family and I booked in at the City Guesthouse after we had visited my sister there and had been really impressed. It is such good value for money!The owners were very friendly, helpful and flexible too when we changed our plans. Our apartment was clean, very well equipped and spacious. I have good memories of it, and it was a great base for us with our two smallies.
The City Guesthouse is amazingly cheap for the value. The rooms were pretty big, great location too! Thanks for a great stay.
This greatly exceeded my expectations, what a fabulous place! Very impressed with the cleanliness, security and the assistance given by the staff at the hostel. So much space and comfort. I had a wonderful time!
I think that this Guest House is great because of its fabulous location and the rooms. The rooms are well priced and furnished. The staffs were pretty helpful. The City Guesthouse is a great place to stay.
The City Guesthouse is located in Downtown Toronto; walking distance from the Sherbourne subway and the popular Yorkville shopping district. Close to many of Toronto’s finest attractions, entertainment, and financial districts. We are a fully furnished lodging facility; with daily and weekly rates; monthly rates available from October to March. Our Guesthouse is located also within a 15 minute walk from Ryerson University and two subway stops from the University of Toronto.
We have independent rooms as well as an apartment with a bedroom, kitchen and living room. Also included is a washroom with washer and dryer.
