Beijing Leo Hostel - Review from undiminished

Seems to be getting a mixed bag of reviews ;) I stayed for a week in June 2005 and liked it - convenient, cheap, friendly, but it is basic, so it depends what you are happy with. After a couple of nights in a 'nicer' place I chose to move to Leo because it was more sociable, both in terms of meeting other travellers, and the fact that the staff were patient enough to help you if you wanted to practice speaking mandarin.
