The house is big and comfortable, lot of bars around including "calle de la Amargura", also Jazz Cafe (world class live music), but not that close so is quiet to relax
Casa Yoses is in a great central location surrounded by tons of restaurants, bars, and stores, just off the University of Costa Rica and the San Pedro Mall.
Run by three animated ticos and located in the most exclusive part of San Jose, Casa Yoses was a Classic mansion from last century that has recently been renovated into a hostel, which provides a laid-back, friendly and fun atmosphere.
Casa Yoses is definitively the place to stay!!... the house has accomodation for 30 residents and has a lot of spacious common rooms like the living room, TV room (cable), game room (including a foozeball table), computer room with free high speed internet access, internal patio and a huge garden that overlooks the beautiful mountains of San Jose.
All of this just a block away from San Jose's main street were buses pass by every minute to different destinations in Costa Rica!!
