Unfriendly Staff, Expensive by cooksock
Didnt even get a chance to stay in this Hostel, as the manager didnt seem interested in taking my business. When asked seemingly reasonable questions such as "Do you have an information leaflet", or "are there double rooms available", he arrogantly replied that it "was a real hostel, mate", we use word of mouth, only dorms". Having stayed in plenty of Hostels before, I coulda argued those opinions, but he was to busy being cool to want to converse. I eventually got it outa him that it was 18 euro for a dorm bed. As you could get a private room for about 20 to 30 euro this seemd expensive. Clients seemed mostly 21 year old students from northern europe. It would have been nice to have had the chance to stay here, but myself and my girlfriend obviously werent cool enough.
Did not like this place.
You pay 17 euros to have a bed (some have to sleep on the floor) in an 18 bed dorm.
Owners are quite unfriendly unhellpful only want to pick up girls?
Lockers are crap, unsecure therefore not used by anyone.
No internet available, no common room to hang out, no kitchen no fridge no nothing.
its only a bout making big money.
Try to find something else if possible... would NOT recommnend this place!
If you want to drink cheap sweet cocktails all night long and clatter your tired, drunk way upstairs to a coma, this is the place to be!
If you want towels, breakfast, clean and hygienic facilities, basic politeness from other guests (greetings, small talk), or ANY SLEEP AT ALL go somewhere else.
Created with love and passion this place is and those seekers looking for a piece of that will not be let down. One love breathes spiritual peace and hard core rock n' roll and if you thought skinny dipping was to belong those old days only then you have yet another chance.
Fantastic staff, beds are comfortable and clean, showers hot and you never have to worry about running out of poo tickets.
This place will leave you heartbroken. Love you.
Korcula Backpackers is the best and most fun place in the whole of Croatia. Whether it be the brilliant teen cult films on at night, the fun and thrill of a giant mixed dorm, the 4 person shower, or the legendary Zeeman who owns and runs the place, you won't forget your time here (for all the right reasons!)
In a great location and right on the harbour, the Backpackers fun hostel was our best time in Croatia. Its a great way to meet new friends and to find yourself chatting to similar people like you. You could go in a group of 10 or on your own, it wouldn't matter as you will make friends however and whereever you are placed in the hostel. 7 of us lads descended on the Backpackers and all of us left extremelly satisfied and happy!

If you're looking for the best experience of your life then head to Korcula Backpacker. Its absolutely FANTASTIC and the vibe is second to none!! The guy who runs it is awesome and bound to make your stay worth while!!! Happy parties, beautiful people and a great location, what more could you ask for?!

I went to Kortula expecting to stay 1 night and be on my way, I ended up staying 6 nights. This Hostel is the best! Truly, a vacation from my vacation. The Guys that run this place are a ton of fun. Partys every night. Just a work of advice. Be careful when using the beer bongs. DON'T sleep on the top bunk! I found out the hard way. Also, check out the Wraps place. You won't regret it.

I spent 3 nights in this hostel and it was amazing! Really cool decorations and brilliant location. All the people there were fantastic too!
Have literally just got back from spending two weeks travelling round croatia and spent 3 nights in korcula at the backpacker. I can safely say that it was the best three days - such a good vibe there - awesome chilled out people and loads of young people to chat to.
The guys who run it are great and there is a party every night!
Make sure you check out the smoothie and wrap place called 'fresh' - it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!
