I spent a little over a week at Hostel Revolution this may. I really enjoyed my stay, the accommodations were comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxed and up beat, and the location was really fantastic.
The owner Matt, was very knowledgeable about the city, and very helpful when it came to getting around, catching buses etc.
Also there in-house bar was just what I needed after a few long days touring Quito. Anyway, best of luck to ya Matt.
Great hostel, friendly and helpful staff, good location located between old a new town. Has a nice bar with cold beer. Internet access, a nice terrace to chill out on, clean bathrooms and bedrooms and hot water with good showers, and the owner knows a lot about quito, very handy, he can tell you were to go and where not to go. Would recommend to anyone.
This place was just what I needed, cold beer on arrival,internet, english speaking, lots of info, hot showers. Great times, sad to leave. Thanks guys and best of l luck with your hostel.
We stayed here for 2 month and we enjoyed it very much. The owner is a very friendly and obliging guy from australia. He delivered us with useful information about Quito and thanks to him we didn`t have to pay entry in a few cool bars in town because he`s friend with the owner. Furthermore the rooms are clean and there is hot water all day. The hostel is in the middle between New Town and Old Town and just 1 minute to walk to the Ecovia and the Trole (Metro Bus).
We got real friendship with the staff here and we will miss them. Hope we see them at the Oktoberfest!!!
This new hostel near the old city is clean, perfectly situated (busstop one min. away, between old and new town) and has the best facilities!!! The owner Matt is hospitable, friendly and speaks both spanish and english. The hostel is based on meeting new people and the prices are more than competable. I enjoy my stay here and think this hostel added to it!!!
Welcome, Bienvenidos to Hostel Revolution Quito, the coolest new backpacker hostel in Historical Quito. Created by and for backpackers who want to socialise, take in the historical sights and culture, exchange info and go out and have a great time.
Great location in a renovated colonial type house with wooden floors and decorative plaster ceilings. Facilities include great bar, lounge, Shared Kitchen, New Bathrooms, Rooftop terrace with great views,
and internet.
Close to all the historical sites: old Spanish colonial houses, beautiful streets and plazas, museums, churches and monuments. But also close to Mariscal or Gringo land which is less than 20 mins walk or 5 mins by bus.
We also help with volunteering, spanish lessons, and work teaching English.
Hostel Revolution is a cool, laid back, fun new backpacker hostel in a great location close to all the main bus stops. We hope you enjoy you stay with us.
