Lucky Youth Hostel - Review from Emily

I booked months in advance for my boyfriend and I to stay at the lucky youth hostel for 4 nights. I booked on hostelworld.com and I booked for a private room. I called several times before arriving to try and confirm my reservation, but the disorganized manager Elouis kept hanging up on me. i found it strange but hostelworld.com assured me that I had a reservation. When i arrived in paris i called as instructed to find out where i was staying. Elouis informed me that they did not have private rooms and they didnt have room for us in general but that she had found a hotel to take us. So me and my boyfriend wandered around paris not knowing much french and ended up at the hotel she told us to go to which had no reservations. There was no place to stay it was almost new years and no place had avalibility we had to pay 150 euros a night in order to stay in a crappy hotel. The place is a complete rip off Elouis was no help and they didnt even offer to give us our deposit for the room back. DONT GO HERE!!!
