Blue Planet Hostel - Review from CC

First they said we had not reserved at all. When we showed them the printout of the reservation, they said we arrived too late because we had indicated 23.00 as the arrival time. They had obviously given our room to someone else. We asked to speak to the manager, they called her and as she was trying to explain, the line got mysteriously disconnected...this happened twice! We were lucky to have a French-speaking person in the group, as the two employees refused to speak English. When they realized we were not going away so easily, they pretended to try and find us other lodgings. Some mysterious phonecalls were made in the back, and they showed up claiming they had booked a room for us, but the reservation lasted only for 30 min so we had to go right away... The number of this supposed hostel was not working when we tried it (what a surprise!). After 2,5 hours of getting lied to and insulted, we realized this was not a safe place to be,and started looking for a room in Paris at 2 am on a Friday... My advice: stay away from this sad excuse for a hostel!...
