We enjoyed the most beautiful nature with phantastic food. This is a country for walking and biking. The interior of the hotel is a very nice mixture of antiques and colonial design. The rooms are excellent value for money and it was by far thenicest and best place to stay during our trip.
The over a 100 year old romantic hotel is situated in the middle of the Teutoburger Wald Forest. The old mill which houses restaurant, lodge, biergarten and a terrace directly at a small lake dates back to the 17th century. The location is famous for its walking and biking trails. Surrounded by 15 acres of own forest and meadows. The small lake is full of trout and crab. There is unique bird and wild life in a total tranquility. The 12 Guestrooms are equipped W-Lan, Computer, SAT-TV, individual air-condition, electrical adjustable beds, central heating, bar, safe, steam showers etc. A stream of crystal clear water runs through the grounds which offers sun and shadow to relax in a unique setting.
