Ah shan hostel allows me and my 2 friends to have a good place to rest. It allows us to experience community living during our 6 days stay at Hong Kong. It's located at mongkok, 2 minutes walk to the nearest mtr station, mongkok station. 5 minutes walk to ladies market, 10 minutes walk to langham place. Location wise, it's easy to get around.
We enjoyed the room being so clean, with it air-conditioned, daily change of towels and tidying of room. Best part of all, it has a toilet attached to each room and has a LCD television.
Lastly, whatever you'd paid for the room is far cheaper than any other hotel room. And yet able to enjoy hotel-like service for the room, (daily cleaning of room). Worth trying to stay put in Ah Shan if you happen to visit Hong Kong for holiday!
Excellent location in the heart of Mongkok with easy access to the street markets, good hawkers, restaurants and just a few minutes walk to MTR station. Even though the building was old, the rooms were in excellent condition.Although not spacious,the bedsheets were spotless and rooms were very clean. Service was average but the owners were incredibly friendly.Fiona and her Family very helpful and cheerful.
BAD hostel! the room is TINY, very very small and no security at all.
i found some bed bugs in my bed!! i don't think they had cleaned my room in 3 days! the WORST ever!!
i stayed the hostel couple of nights. the room was really clean. they cleaned the room everyday. the staff are very friendly. if i went back hongkong again i would be back there.
I whas there in Octobre for 8 days i really like this place, the rooms are small but verry clean. Verry good location in the center of Kowloon.

I like this place very much. I love to stay here. Their staff are very nice and helpful. I can use their computer access internet. And, one of my friends also got a computer. So, we can even access internet inside our own room. It's a great place. I enjoy stay here.
