When we arrived (6am) they did not have our reservation. Charlie sent us to a (not meant to be rented) room off of the kitchen with no electricity and we got locked inside twice... We could not get out! (We did have a good laugh about this, though). Then they moved us to a room downstairs which was better. The people at the front desk where very helpful and friendly except for Charlie at the front desk who was beyond rude (would not get up to let us in the front door once doors were locked after our tour; gave us wrong directions to return our rental car before flying home and did not care; - I could go on and on... Everything else at Floki Inn went well and we enjoyed our stay in Iceland. I would recommend the Floki Inn to anyone on a budget. But, I would warn them to steer clear of Charlie. Everyone else at the Floki Inn was so friendly and helpful.
Floki Inn is a centrally located guesthouse in the downtown Reykjavik open 24 hours 365 days of the year. It is in the center of the Reykjavik, close to every attraction and it has single, double, triple and quad. rooms with shared bathroom facilities. The breakfast is always included in the price.
