Very upset with them. I booked 2 nights over the phone and was asked to provide my credit card details in order to reserve the room. After a long drive from Dublin we arrive and are told they have no record of my booking. Of course, this didnt stop them taking a payment using my card. I only found out some days later when I received my statement. To date ,despite complaining, they have not refunded the amount.
This hostel was really dissapointing. The location is okay and the TV room is a nice touch. However, the front staff were really unfriendly. Also, the hostel was incredibly noisy, full of bucks parties/hen nights. Our dorm backed onto the side street and entrance, which meant we got all the outside noise from people arriving home as well.
The showers were disgusting and the bed bunks felt like they were going to fall apart.
Overall, it 's okay if you're desperate but I reckon you can do better.
