just read this review and its true. This place is a treasure. Its in the centre of Galway, where all the music and craic can be found. Galway is not a large city so no matter where you are in the city you never have far to walk back to the hostel. Staff were lovely and I felt at home. Relaxing for a break away.

Barnacles Quay Street House is located on the pedestrianised street in the centre of Galway city. Walk out the front door into the heart of the Cultural capital of Ireland. All out rooms have their own bathroom and all prices include a light breakfast to get you started. The only thing you need to take with you for a stay with us is your wallet and your toothbrush. Bedlinen is provided, towels, hair dryer, hair straightener, PS2, movie nights with up to date movies, night club passes, local info, fully fitted kitchen, spice and herb rack, cheap and cheerful recipes are all available here.
