The Five Star Hostel - Florence - Reviews & Contact Details

Our group of 5 were guests at the Five Star Hostel in August 2008. We found Andrea and Sara to be absolutely wonderful hosts. Our reservation was for 4 but shortly before we arrived in Italy, it had increased to 5. When we arrived in Florence late at night, Andrea and Sara very graciously accomodated the extra person, did extra work for us and made arrangements to make sure all of us were comfortable. We were there for 3 days and and enjoyed their warm hospitality immensely. They were so gracious to us and did all kinds of things to help us out, even searching on maps, making phone calls and checking things for us to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. They were so warm and friendly and nothing that we asked was too much trouble for them. They were so kind and helpful and so much fun! The hostel was clean and tidy and had a wonderful homey atmsophere in our room. The halls and staircase in the old historic tower were beautifully kept. Our breakfasts were excellent with fruit, cereal, toast and the most delicious scrambled eggs in town. At the end of our stay, we felt Andrea and Sara were our friends and we were sorry to leave! If we were voting on their level of excellence, we would all have given them 10 out of 10. We found the Five Star Hostel to be exactly that ......... five star accomodation.
