Hey you guys ,I was there in December 2006,love the place,I will be there over Chrismas 2007,who knows we could even meet at Barrier reef for a beer or 12 ,maybe meet some new friends (boys and girls). Jaco you r still the Jagemeister king,guys keep it up will see you guys soon. VISSIE

Dunes Backpackers Lodge is a must for all travellers passing through Swakopmund, Namibia.
Centrally located, Dunes is a stone's throw from the ocean, close to major shops and banks, an adventure booking centre, and Swakopmund's notorious nightlife! We offer affordable, comfortable accommodation in either dorm (4 to 8 beds per room) or twin format. Add to this our spacious entertainment area with indoor pool, sauna, and pool bar, communal lounge with satellite TV, video library, and pool table.
There's definitely something to keep you occupied- when you're not off conquering sand dunes on a quad bike, dolphin cruising, or skydiving desert style! Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help with all bookings and travel info. The phone and internet service will keep you in touch, and our restaurant's home-cooked meals will ensure you never go hungry. We also offer a laundry service and loads of off-street parking.
