White Tulip Hostel - Great new years in 'dam

The people at the white tulip were awesome, when i called them they directed me to where it would cheapest to book from them, and they were overall extremely helpfull and friendly. Cleanlieness is so-so but nothing bad, all sheets etc were clean as well as bathrooms and showers. Had no experience with the dorms, as we were a group and rented a private 6 bed room which worked out great. only downside to this is that damn bell that starts going off at 7am every morning and keeps going once every 15 minutes or so. The irish pub in the same building is also great, has awesome staff, and the full irish breakfast is well recommended. It is located in the red light district, just a stone throw away from the centraal station which was great for us as we arrived by train from the airport, it is also located well within easy walking distance of most attractions(Heineken museum is quite far, but is well recommended) price was excellent, and there were no arguments with any staff about any type of payment. This will be my first choice of a hostel in Amsterdam next time :)
