Intersail Hostel - Bedbugs! Stay away from this place for your own good.

We stayed at the Intersail houseboat hell 2 weeks ago in Amsterdam (Oct.9, 2009). We awoke to find bugs in our beds, and all 3 of us were covered in RED and ITCHY welts within the week. I am still covered in marks and scabs on my face, neck, arms, and hands, The worst is that the owner, Toon, was not surprised when we told him we found bugs in the bed. In fact, he said our room had been the worst and that the exterminators would come again. AS IF that makes me feel better! Bedbugs are a serious problem and can have severe physical and psychological consequences. Stay away from this place.
