Run by a young family, this charming hostel offers accomodation at a rate only dodgy pousadas near the bus terminal normally could provide single rooms at. The location is excellent as buses going to the centre or to main tourist attractions like Praia do Futuro stop nearby and it\'s easy to get to the hostel on a public bus from the terminal. Just have some breakfast from the supermarket as you watch the little fellows whose school/college you\'re indirectly paying for, it\'s a good investment.
backpackers ceara hostel is basic and simple but the staff makes a lot of differnce in staying there. i could fill at home and safe. i recommend thais hostel for people easegoing that wants to fill the real brazilian style life. nice setting, clean and nice decorated. close to the main poits of the city.
very good quality hostel in fortaleza city centre for just 15 us dollars per person with excellent staff and near to all major city location and centres.
i highly recommend backpackers ceara hostel. the staff is very friendly, nice and clean bath and rooms. sure is the best hostel you can find in fortaleza.
This accomodation is cheap and scungey. The toilets and showers are dirty. It is a party house; noisy at night with drunk people drinking on the veranda, slamming doors which make the room and beds reverberate; yelling; sheets and duvet thin and washed out; rooms so small it is difficult to move about – we were in a three bed room and could really only have 2 people standing up and moving about at any one time; there was only two beds (bunk type) with the third bed being a mattress on a ledge arrangement above the door!
The ad says boutique accommodation; crisp linen sheets ! spacious and nicely decorated! Full length mirror! Warm and cosy
This the information I read the internet and also received as an information brochure in my booking confirmation email from the hostel. It is lies!
What a poor reputation overseas travellers must have of us. There was a baby staying there last night – no situation for a child. Randoms in sleeping bags on sofas in TV room; non guests wandering around the house at 4am
