Best Hostell ever! Generous, organic, fresh breakfasts , friendly helpful staff in a setting that is utterly breath taking! Central to every thing this hostell is a short distance from town and the station. This was like staying at a five star resort reasonably priced, with free internet in the reception area. We will most certainly return for a longer stay. This is the best hostell in Norway!
If you require a city expeience Bergen is a two hour train ride away. Voss is the most beautiful town we have ever stayed in. Book in advance- this place is so sweet everyone wants to stay here. FABULOUS!!
The hostel is beautifully situated by the lake Vangsvatnet, 700 m from the train and bus station in Voss. You can rent canoes, kayaks and bikes at the hostel. For cold winter evenings there is a room with a fireplace, and in the summer there is a nice veranda towards the lake to relax on. We also have our own sauna. We offer accommodation in 4/6-bedded rooms with own shower and toilet. The rooms can also be booked as double or single rooms. You can bring your own bed linen or rent sheets from us, we do not allow sleeping bags. In the reception we sell snacks, sodas and ice cream, and there is a guest kitchen for your use. A breakfast with ecological products and homemade bread is included in the rate!
