Private and cosy: Self-catering accommodation for 2 persons (1 couple or 2 single) in old part of town - tree-lined streets, leivore, abundant birdlife amidst rambling rose gardens and an intriguing display of quaint post boxes! Walking distance from Dharma Centre, pharmacy, supermarket, old cemetary, and bakery. Accommodation for 1 couple or 2 singles. The 31 sqm. flatlet is equipped with new (2008) Cloud Nine beds and linen. In winter we also provide extra woolly blankets, a heater and hot water bottles. For summers, we provide a fan and the room-window is fitted with mosquito-mesh for added relief. There is a comfortable easy-chair, antique dining table and two chairs, tiled- and wooden floors, television (SABC and e-TV), CD-player with AM/FM radio, a small library and local information, cupboard, bedside tables, luggage kist, compact digital safe, security alarm system (for those concerned ), ample lighting, rugs, board-games and plenty of feasts for the eyes. The shower-room is quaint and spacious. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. Off-street, roofed parking is located towards the back of the property, at your door. Additional off-street parking is also available for a second vehicle. Self-catering facilities include microwave oven, two-plate stove, fridge with deep-freeze and ice trays, cordless kettle, two-slice toaster, coffee plunger, ample cutlery, crockery, kitchen- and barbeque utensils, storage space and cleaning equipment. Fresh flowers and/or garden greens and a selection of herbs and spices are provided free of charge. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar (white, brown and Canderel) and milk on arrival. (Available during power failures: Two-plate non-electric stove with bio-gel and aluminium kettle). Your rustic and private braai-boma (barbeque area) and equipment is situated in the garden. Great for wine-tasting and star-gazing! In the event of rain, a portable barbeque-unit is also available for use under your roofed parking/cottage-entrance area. Enjoy our optional "Blikbord"-Breakfast (by 48-hour prior arrangement). A random selection of goodies in season and in the owner’s pantry: juice, slice of farm bread, a hot scone, butter and jam, a helping of ham, some cheese and biltong and perhaps a pumpkin fritter or or a pomegranate. (R 45 pp) * Single bookings welcome - we DO NOT charge a supplement fee. * This is a gay-friendly establishment. * Sorry: no pets, small children or credit card facilities. * We do not offer a laundry service. Laundry and dry cleaning facilities are available in Robertson during office hours on weekdays. We do however, have an iron and ironing-board available on request.
