Spicy Thai is awesome. It's located outside of the main city but still near some of the places you will want to go. These include some good restaurants and bars.
Noom and Chang are really helpful. Chang spent most of the day with us and took us elephant trekking and to the tiger kingdom. He drove and only asked for petrol money which was very generous.
The hostel itself is clean and homely. There is internet, good dorms and rooms and a nice living room to watch a dvd and just chill out. You are guaranteed to meet some cool and like-minded people there.
