Ashlee House Hostel - Trip to Europe 2009

While staying at this hostel the security code for my all female students' room was given to another guest of the hostel by a male employee. The guest then entered the room in the middle of the night.The reason for entry to the room is immaterial. In my view ther is no possible justification for this. When I expressed my concern to the employee he was adamant he had done nothing wrong.I asked for the code to be changed and was told this was not possible. What I should have done was report it to the police. At least a co worker heard the argument and apologised admitting wrong doing. The code to the room was changed later that day. I would not recommend this hostel to anybody. The breakfast is good but that is its only saving point. The rooms are far too small-six beds in a room 4m by 2.5m at the most.No room to swing the proverbial. I did not have one hot shower in four days and nights. These views represent the views of the entire group.
