this bed and breakfast is a haven for budget travelers and adventurers alike. the owners (who have been here for over 13 years) are lovely people. the gardens are extensive with many different fruits and nuts to gorge yourself on. we had breakfast on an open lanai that provided us with beautiful ocean views and exotic birdsong.
i loved it and would recommend this for anyone of my friends.
Feel like being in paradise in this secluded, tropical, natural Coffee and Macadamia Plantation. A sacred hideaway of native Hawaii for eco travelers, bird watchers and nature lovers .
Enjoy strolling among many varieties of native plants and flowers or rest in on of the many hammocks, listen to the sounds of birds and wild life ,the trickling water in the koi ponds and the sound of gentle breezes in the trees.
Our white Labrador, round potbelly pigs ,adorable miniature horse, well behaved , colorful parrots, beautiful peacocks, rare and unusual chickens and wild Pheasants share this special sanctuary.
You may visit the temple of Mother Nature where you feel peace and inspiration.
It also is a great place for yoga.
Rainbow Plantation is just minutes away from Kealakekua Bay, (Captain Cook Monument) a marine life park and sanctuary, where you can swim with the dolphins and sea turtles.
Kayak and snorkeling gear rentals available on premises.
Free one day use of ocean kayak ( double or single) with minimum stay of 4 nights.
Rainbow Plantation is conveniently located also near the Place of Refuge, great beaches, shopping, dining and theatre,
All units have private baths and separate entrances, TVs and refrigerators.
The Jungle Kitchen and large lava Barbeque is available to all our guest .
