A very private, quiet and spacious Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast in one of the most beautiful places in Hawaii. Each room has private entrances, private bath, cable television, air conditioning, and telephone as well as unobstructed view and access to beach and shoreline just yards from the deck. There is a BBQ on the deck and off street parking. Dip in the cool pools. Sleep on king-sized beds, and listen to the sounds of the surf. The ponds are ocean and fresh water fed. They are beautiful, cool and clear with grassy banks and mostly sandy bottom, safe swimming for young and old alike. The ocean breaks on the lava reef just beyond the colorful tide pools, and there are other good swimming beaches within walking distance, one with black sand and coconut trees and another with white sand. We are in the beach park area and we can direct you to the best snorkeling, surfing and SCUBA diving spots. We are four miles from the center of Hilo. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance. Tropical botanical Gardens and Homemade Ice Cream Shop, and small store less than a mile away. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is a beautiful and easy 50-minute drive. The property is landscaped with an abundance of tropical fruit trees, exotic plants and flowers. Our Breakfast is a generous continental that includes luscious tropical fruit from the local Farmers Market, delivered to your room so it can be enjoyed at your convenience.
