Very Close to Excellent by Augustine
I've just come back from a six-night stay at Hanoi and I had a funny time. Throughout my stay the management and staff did everything possible to ensure my time was used to the full and was as memorable as possible. I was given an upgrade on arrival to a top floor. Big thanks, then, to everyone at the Queen Star hotel who made my stay very special. I plan to return.
This is all you could want in a hotel. Excellent location, extremely friendly and helpful staff and best of all, the rooms. They're excellent - spacious, kitted out with beautiful objects and lovely soft beds, a huge and luxurious bathroom with separate bath.
I stayed at the Queen Star hotel for business. this is a great hotel, with lovely grounds and a polished, yet very comfortable atmosphere. the service is fantastic! I loved it!
Me and Girlfriend stayed in this hotel whilst traveling rounding Hanoi. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Beautiful and good size room. We requested early check-in and late departure, and they were more than happy to accommodate our request.
We traveled Asia for 2 months and this was without doubt the nicest place we stayed. For excellent value you get gorgeous rooms and breakfast included, also free internet during your stay. The staff were unbelievably helpful. the owner of the hotel was extremely nice and gave us great recommendations on where to go, where to eat and what to see in Hanoi. i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Hanoi...it was an amazing stay!!
Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, bathroom are ok but some paint etc. would make a difference. Breakfast is ok (Complimentary breakfast), but cooked food seems to sit quite a few hours and look fresh .Service in restaurant and reception is professional and of good standard,. Overall a hotel with excellent value for money in a central location, I will stay there again!
We have stayed at the Queen Star Hotel on previous visits to Melbourne and, as on this occasion, we have always been very pleased with the accommodation, service and facilities provided especially at the affordable prices. The front desk staff are always so helpful and cheerful. Thank you for accommodating us on this occasion, we will certainly use your booking service again and recommend you to friends.

Perfect value for money, the room size is absolutely ok but a little old stylish. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is good (not loud and overcrowded but easy to reach the attracted places by walking distance). The breakfast is more than ok. Would stay again in this hotel!
You are treated like family the moment you arrive. You will get as much or as little attention as you like. All you have to do is ask and you will get whatever you need, whenever you need it. The service exceeded all of my expectations.
The rooms were immaculate and very quiet. Also, the location is ideal as it sits right smack in the middle of Old Quarter Street.
Overall, it was the best stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Really good location!!! about 2 minutes walk to the lake... surrounded by great restaurants and bars.. and easy access to markets and war museums.
