Just opened in June 2009, The Drift is one super stylish and chilled out backpackers haven! Created and run by two Aussie backpackers with a knowledge for good service and passion for good fun and good times.

thanks Tiff for your informative advice on sightseeing. Also for taking 2 oldies on your bike to our chosen restaurant....because you thought we would get lost.
Pink room (for females) was clean and hassle free.A great experience.

My 5 friends and I were in vietnam over the summer when we meet some guys who recommended The drift. We arrived and the whole place was beautiful! Best beds in vietnam! The bathrooms and bedrooms were immaculate, the food was great (try the burgers guys), they had gravy chips, the breakfast was free (ask nicely and you can borrow the vegimite). The TV room was my favourite...loads of new releases all on a massive flat screen!! Free internet...and AMAZING STAFF. The girls who ran the place were ace, such nice and fun people who actually went properly out of their way to help and look after us. It was my 21st the day after we were leaving them and the sorted me out with some champagne flowers AND the best and biggest cake I had ever seen. Literally you cant get better than The Drift. I wholey recommended them as well worth the price, in fact I think they should charge more.

An amazing place with a great atmosphere and amazingly friendly staff. It was our home away from home and they handled our group (20 crazy 16/17 year olds) amazingly. We even went back again :)...definately recommended by all of us so go on mate...get involved :D
Awsome hostle would think it was a hotel gives a comforting feeling nice to stay in, asured clean living amazin food, can be a good change from trad hanoi cuisine lol
