great nited at shoestring by phil sipho
I spent two weeks in vicfalls and i loved all the 14 nights of great fun and boozing at shoestring. the pipo are great and i made friends. am definitely going back this december. the dogs were friendly and i miss the black pig.

If you are after a good party...look no further than shoestrings... especially if the overlanders are in town! Tourists and locals party on till all hours. Great staff.... friendly atmosphere. Dorms and rooms are quite simple, but comfortable. The dogs are cool.
always a good time. if you are there just ask for Rodeny and Oscar and you will have the best of times.

Myself and three friends spent two weeks in Zimbabwe.When we weren't on the river or in the bush,the Shoestrings was home.Great place!Inexpensive with great people running it.Night life is awesome as well.It's a very easy and fun place to stay!Complete with two awesome dogs and a cat to pet!
I thought it was great, I was on Africatrails truck and had the best time at shoestrings, great people, friendly willing to show you around. Close to the centre and not far from the falls itself. Good nightlife as well, fun, local and friendly. I'll be back soon, thanks Katy x
