Hotel Orangers - Nice - Reviews & Contact Details

I'll start with the good points as there is so few, the room was relatively clean. It’s very close to the train station but unfortunately that means it's also very close to the sex shops, not the most desirable area of Nice. the website said Ensuite but that’s pushing it a bit, it was actually a plywood box in the corner of the room with no ceiling (meaning you could see into it from the top bunks. there was no top sheets on the beds only heavy blankets which in the 30 degree heat wasn't ideal, didn't feel welcome as I had to wait 2 hours to check in as there was no one there to let me in and when he did arrive he asked if I’d been waiting long when I told him yes he laughed. Not one for women traveling alone (as I was) due to the area I did not feel safe on the streets near the hostel even as early as 8pm. one night a was sharing my room with a lady carrying all her things in carrier bags and 2 men with no bags sleeping in their clothes. The very worst thing about it is the price DEFINATLY ONE TO AVOID!
