Rung Arun resort is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places that you are likely to stay at on Koh Phangan. There are only 12 bungalows and simply loads of space including a very large beachfront area that has terrific views along the coast and over to Koh Samui. The pool is the central feature of the place which is set in landscaped gardens. For the uality you would think that it would be expenisve but it only works out at 1,500 - 2,750 Baht a night. Very popular though so it is difficult to book at short notice. Great place.
