We stayed at the PhuDo Hotel on Sept 2008. It was a Great Hotel. The location was excellent, Just only 3 minute to walk to Hoan Kiem lake. The bed was comfortable, cleandiness room, The hotel was located around the shopping area so it was very busy. Straongly recommended this hotel to every one

I went to Hanoi last month for a 3-day business trip. After searching for a good hotel to stay, I decided to choose Phudo Hotel as it has many good reviews. And I'm absolutely happy with my decision. The location of this hotel is very unique. It's close to almost all cool places such as popular shopping areas, antique stores, popular restaurant and bars. It takes you just a couple of minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake. In addition, the hotel offers excellent services comparable to many 3-star or even 4- star hotels in US that I've known. I have nothing to complaint about it. Actually, this hotel is really a good deal as you could hardly find a comparable one in Hanoi with a price only $30/night. Thus, I highly recommend this hotel to everybody.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at PHUDO HOTEL hotel for one night only as part of our trip round vietnam and we thought it was excellent. The hotel could organise taxi pick up and when we arrived we were expected and welcomed. The rooms were great, spacious and clean. The location was great, not too noisy and in walking distance to everything. The staff were very helpful with suggestions of places to go and provided maps and info regarding taxis etc. From the hotel we booked 2 trips and a flight, He even helped fix our camara! Nothing was too much trouble for him and his staff. The hotel was a great base from which to organise trips and both the trips to halong bay and sapa were both great value for money and between times we could store our bags and come back for breakfast, showers etc. Talking to other travellers, this was not always the case with other hotels. We also got free tea/coffee all day, breakfast and free internet. All in all it was a great place to stay and the staff made everything so easy for us

I just want to express a warm grattitude to the hospitability of you Hotel which I stayed for a week during my stay in Hanoi. Your Hotel is quite elegant place, your room was clean and your staff are very friendly and hospitable. I also enjoyed your window view during night time. Hope to see and stay there again soon...

This is my 1st time to Vietnam, Hanoi. I am staying in is at PhuDo Hotel. The staffs there are very helpful and friendly. It give me a feeling of going back home. I believe I will stay at the same hotel again if I will be back to Hanoi.

We stayed at PHUDO HOTELfor a weeks in oct 2008. We chose the hotel because of the great reviews on this site and very reasonable rates . We booked a deluxe triple directly through hotel website. , l had all the usual amenities (eg internet access, cable tv, a/c, laundry service) . Location was great. Breakfasts were simple but nice and healthy. But what really makes the hotel so good is the can do attitude of all of its staff and their genuine friendliness and helpfullness. All of the staff spoke English very well, nothing was a problem for them, and they went out of their way to be of service (much better than some 3 star hotels we have stayed at in Vietnam). We highly recommend this hotel, it lived up to our high expectations and it was a pleasure to stay there.Thank you PHUDO HOTEL.

Quiet place in noisy city, very successful hotel, the most beautiful lobby and rooms, , green territory. Hotel in heart of Hanoi old quarter nearby a lot of restaurants, shops, everywhere reached on foot, stronly recommend this hotel for family with children, group of busines to Hanoi, Vietnam

I just stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with my girlfriend and I must say that this is the best value for money hotel that I have ever stayed at before in my life! PhuDo Hotel have great location in HaNoi City of Viet Nam. It is very easy access to anywhere, have newfacility, warm atmosphere and nice staffs with excellent sirvices.

We spent four nights in August 2008 at PhuDo hotel. I can honestly say that PhuDo hotel is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The Hotel is owned and expertly run by professsional staff and manager. The staff is very friendly and and their attention to detail is remarkable. We were travelling with 2 children and we have never been to a Hotel where we felt so welcomed and comfortable. The Hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from the Hoan Kiem Lake of Hanoi old quarter. I would like to thank all the staff for making our visit to Hanoi, Vietnam so memorable. We highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for an adventure they will never forget.

I travel with my friends to vietnam 2 weeks ago, as our main interest was to view Northern Lights and to relax, I book at PHUDO HOTEL, located in the center of hanoi old quarter, the city of lakes. Staff, they were just amazing, even prior of my arrival they called, arrange the transport from NOI BAI airport to hanoi, but amazing ones. Hotel, high quality, very friendly and worm, and very live. Room was amazing, we had fun. Activities, they keep us really busy, from guided tour, they organized vietnam trip for me.The destination is SAPA,HALONG,HUE.HOIAN,NHATRANG,SAIGON etc.The vietnam travel landscapes are spectacular.IT is really good trip to vietnam that i wanted to recommend to all customers who wonder to come to vietnam

This Hotel is good location,so I can go anywhere without any difficulty. Also, I really felt safety for Woman, even the night. About the staff, they are friendly,kindly,warmly welcome......ect. As the price, 35$ for one night is reasonable, the room is clean,calm,with fully equipments....I want to tell more and more but my English is limited..Pls visit in some Japanese Website to see my Reviews... We are group of business man from Ho Chi Minh City and we come to Hanoi for our business conference. The PhuDo hotel were recommended by friend. We stay for 7 nights with 6 deluxe rooms. The hotel provided all the things we needed: Daily buffet Breakfast, free Morning Newspaper Delivered to Room, free basket of fruit, Valet Service, Cable / Satellite TV ,CD Player / DVD Player / sound System,Coffee Maker / Mini Bar / Mini Refrigerator/ tea maker, Meeting Room, complimentaryWork Desk w/ Lamp. In room, free hight speed internet cable and wifi.

We stayed at the PhuDo Hotel for 03 nights as booking and extra for 02 nights. Overall, it was nice. The hotel is so nice with no need for any extra features. The rooms with nice view and quite big,also very clean. Hot water running well. But most of all, this hotel in the center of the busy old center of Hanoi is run by a very professional company. With fresh breakfast, help you with luggage, answer any your questions. It feels very comfortable in city like Hanoi which can be unsettling sometimes. Another plus is that they have a travel agent at the lobby, that can help you everything along Vietnam as your requests. All that for 25$ - 55$ a night.
