Free Budapest Walking Tours

A great series of Free Budapest Walking Tours complete with very informative guides.  Entertaining tours run daily and range from General, to Communist, to Jewish themed walking tours.

The goal of these walking tours is to discover and experience Budapest through the eyes of the insiders, to learn about history, society, architecture and culture, to bring to life streets, bridges and statues and of course to have fun. Things are told by someone who has experienced it. Guides are not just read about they are talking about in a textbook and tours are more than showing the sights and famous places but help to get a real feel of what Budapest really is and what Hungarians are actually like. Guides work for their tips only, that is  why they are motivated, enthusiastic and critical.

Free Budapest Walking Tour is an informative and entertaining daily walk around the best sights Buda and Pest has to offer, including all academically relevant and practically inevitable information that tourists could not find out on their own. Daily at 10.30AM
