Country Overview
The snow topped mountains and humid green forests take your mind of the daily crises of Argentina where a lot has gone down recently with the economy and political problems, but it is still a very beautiful country to visit. There are benefits for travelers that emerge from the problems such as -great travel discounts and full lunches for about US$5. Then there is soccer or football, what ever you call it, this is the passion of this otherwise stressed out country.
Daily Budget
Try camping and preparing your own meals if you are on a budget, you will be amazed at just how much you can save. Your accommodation should cost about US$9-35 and meals about US$3-10. So surviving on US$50 a day should be easily done.
When to Go!
Well that depends on what you are after, if it is the skiing you are after then Mid June to late September would be your best bet but if climbing and hiking is your thing then make sure you go in summer (December to February) but on the whole, any season is good for visiting Argentina.
