Queensland’s capital is relaxed, laidback, with extremely friendly ‘locals’ and is cheap and easy to get around.
Set on the banks of the Brisbane River, the city is green and leafy, with the Moreton Bay fig trees and Jacaranda’s giving loads of shade.
In the city centre colonial sandstone buildings stand side by side with modern glass towers.
