City Overview
Bruges is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It's perfectly preserved medieval architecture set amidst meandering canals makes it the most popular tourist destination in Belgium. It is famous for its lace and its museums which hold some of Belgiums finest collection of Flemish Art.
Of course those other delights of Belgium are freely available here; fresh mussels and fries, great beer's and even greater chocolate.
Daily Budget
With budget meals and lodgings coming in at US$10-12 and US$25-55 respectively it is not impossible to come out at US$70 a day. For US$150 a day the backpacker can stay at decent hotels and eat out at at a few restaurants.
