Havana City Overview - History

Havana is a city past its prime, but hanging in there with cheerful determination and a nightlife that grabs you and drags you into a lively frenzy of clubs, pubs, and bars.

For the more sober and serious backpacking student, if there is such an animal, the Spanish colonial architecture will enthrall.

Daily Budget
Cheap meals come at about US$5-10 and a room in a private home roughly US$15-25, so, although Cuba is not top of the list of cheap countries to visit it is possible to make it on about US$35 a day.
