City Overview
"The most English town in France", Calais is by far the busiest French passenger port. It is less that 40kms from Dover - the Channel’s shortest crossing. Steeped in historical tales ranging from - Richard the Lion Heart, to Henry the VIII and Anne Bolyen to Oscar Wilde. And perhaps it is most famous for the church of Notre Dame.
