Port of decadence, flamboyance, chic and extravagance was popularised by the sex symbol, Brigitte Bardot back in the 1960’s. Although many artists, actors and all the hangers on had been coming to the town since much earlier than Bardot - she was the one who sealed its fate.
In the summer it is packed with visitors, expensive and extremely hot - very vibey.
