City Overview
This major city on the Coral Coast has been a trading center for centuries. Parts of the city have a North African feel with narrow roads, Arab cafes and even places featuring Belly Dancing. It is a vibrant city with friendly, happy people with a laid-back attitude, which soon gets the traveller in relaxed mode.

Kenya is a reasonably priced country in which to travel. As long as you do not go for the big deal safaris, which can be expensive, try some of the local food from the roadside stalls, don’t mind communal showers and want to experience the vibrant nightlife US$40 should do it.
