Dating back to the late fourteenth century Cambridge is made of beautiful old architecture surrounding green lawns and can be explored in an afternoon, but if you are really interested in the history and the buildings, or want to spend some time on river doing a spot of punting, old chap, then you could quite easily spend a couple more days in this quiet and compact place.
