Known as The City of Dreaming Spires, Oxford and its university, is world famous, and justly so. The offspring of the rich and royal have received their education here for the past 800 years or so, and the town has been in existence since the 9th century. So there is history galore and ancient buildings, colleges and museums to be explored in this venerated place of learning, as well as a few raucous nights of boisterous boozing and fun with the students.
