Country music is a $2-billion-a-year industry, and Nashville scoops a lot of that jam on to its plate, being the hub of the business. In a fight to maintain its position as Music City USA, Nashville has prettied up its historic downtown neighbourhood, known as The District and it now pumps night and day with glitz, glamour and a whole lot of whoopin' it up in restaurants and nightclubs.
