City Overview
This is the capital of Uruguay, and is where a lot of the locals take their holidays, attracted by the white sands of its beaches. The architecture in the city is a blend of Art Deco as well as colonial Spanish and Italian styles. Montevideo’s old city stands on a small peninsula near the port and harbour, and is the main point of interest to the tourists who flock to this attractive place.
