There are a few places in Europe that are so beautiful as Neuschwanstein. The castle is a fantasy in itself. Too bad it was not finished by Ludwig II. The sightseeing is amazing, the castle is amazing. The only problem with the castle is that it does not let someone to take photos in the inside. A good resource for photos though is http://www.neuschwansteincastle.net
Oh, and besides Neuschwanstein, the town of Fussen is great too.
Unforgetable place. Being there is like in dreamland. First impression is "wow". More exiting if you come on winter, you will see the beauty of that castle.

This castle is probably the best- known castle in the world, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, this castle has a mixture of styles with its centerpiece being the lavish sangersaal (Minstrel’s Hall) where Ludwig could indulge in his obsession with Wagner and medieval knights. This castle was only completed in 1886 and ironically, across the Atlantic the first skyscrapers in America were being built.
