a must to go and explore; it was founded in 1290 - so it might need a bit of a re-paint here and there! It's one of the oldest in the world. You can wander round the chapel of Capela de Sao Miguel, the Museu de Arte Sacra, the superb belltower and wonder at the ceiling in Salo do Exame Privado.
