Lahaina Jodo Mission - Review

This sacred site with a name that means ‘the hill freed from taboo', was once a refuge for Japanese immigrants in 1868, and has a 12ft high Great Buddha statue brought to Maui in 1968 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their arrival.
