Killer Bar by ChrisR
Stylish upscale sports bar/lounge in Recoleta. The liquor selection rivals any place in the States. While they only carry Quilmes
( National brand ) on tap, they do have an exceptional bottled beer line up. Prices are very reasonable compared to the other barrio spots and coupled with nightly promotions on food and drinks you can enjoy a great evening on a small budget. Surely one of the cleanest and well maintained bars with a friendly staff and good service. Open 7 days per week at 6pm until late. Great date place!

Casa Bar is great. The employees and food offer no complaint. The only problem with the place is if you are unfortunate enough to be there when the co-owner ex-pat Patrick is there spouting off his disgusting former U.S. army ranger neocon bigotry while drunk. In my short trips to casa bar I have seen his assault customers on 3 separate occasions. Two of such I was a witness to the entire event... (1 one a homosexual and one was US involvement in Iraq) both occasions, he was belligerent.
Great place to meet locals and foreigners alike.
The place was packed for the Super Bowl with mostly Americans as would be expected. We arrived late so did not get a great seat, but still enjoyed ourselves. They served an Asado ( Argentine BBQ ) plate that was incredible and had 24 ounce cups of Heineken draft beer for 15 pesos which was even better. This is a really nice bar with 2 floors with huge TVs and screen on the 2nd floor the size of a small movie theater. Very friendly staff and the crowd was an interesting and enthusiastic mix of folks just having a good time. Highly recommend this spot when in Buenos Aires and will return net time I am in B's A's.
Excellent place! This is the only bar in Buenos Aires that not only carries top shelf liquors ( Plymouth gin - excellent and Pappy Van Winkle bourbon - the finest in the world ) , but a terrific selection of beers. Me and my mates spent New Years Eve here at the recommendation of a friend. Great recommendation since the city appeared empty with not even a kiosk open to buy cigarettes. This place was hopping with a live band that was spectacular. Great times and when I return to B's A' it will surely be a regular stop. Highly recommended for the food, spirits and hops. Not so much an American pub as I was told since many of the staff are from elsewhere in South America and the bartender, who was sensational was Korean. Lovely place filled with wonderful people.

Went to this bar with some buddies last Sunday to watch the NFL play-offs and had a great time. Almost all expats and tourists on Sunday afternoon having a good time watching the games. In the evening more Portenos frequent the place. They offer super deals on Heineken pints and have liquors as good as any place I have ever been to here or abroad. Excellent pizza ( free beer with a pizza ) and speaking of beer they carry all the best from what I have seen.
The staff is friendly and comprise people from America, Colombia, Bolivia and Argentina with all of them being bilingual. Good for me since my spanish is not so good at the present. Overall one of the best bars I have been to in B'sA's and I recommend it.
Cheers
